Welcome to Thorner Victory Hall Tennis Club. New members are always very welcome!
We are a small, friendly little club set in an idyllic location surrounded by nature. We have 2 floodlit Macadam courts meaning play is all year round.
All are welcome to come along to club sessions on Sunday mornings from 10:30am. This is a perfect opportunity to play some social tennis with other club
members and is open to all levels.
If you are looking for more focused coaching sessions, a comprehensive coaching programme for both adults and juniors, run by Nicola Tweedy, is available (following necessary social distancing/safety precautions). Details can be found HERE or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. For the Spring 2021 programme click here.
“I have been coached by Nicola for the last 8 months and have thoroughly enjoyed each
lesson. She is patient, encouraging and always makes sure you end on a positive note. I was
a total beginner but really feel that I’ve made such progress in a short amount of time. She
makes each session fun and I’m so glad I decided to go for it!” Caroline Hyland.
Being a Part of the Club

The LTA guidance currently allows single play only on the courts. Players need to be paid up members of the club, and book court slots to help fairness and guided use of the courts.
We adhere to the LTA guidance following any government updates. Hand sanitiser is available for players on court. To ensure everyone is aware of the safety measures and help fairness, players do need to be members of the club and book courts to play. There is currently no guest access. We use the LTA booking system, access details are available to members.
