CALLAGHAN – LIVE AT THE VICTORY HALL (MARTIN HOUSE JOINT FUNDRAISER)

Building on the success of her last visit to the Victory Hall, Callaghan makes a welcome return to Thorner – one of her favourite UK venues!

Originally from the UK, Callaghan moved to the USA in summer 2010 to record and tour with Grammy Nominee Shawn Mullins, and has been touring and building her audience ever since. Callaghan plays piano and guitar and delivers a vocal which earns frequent comparisons with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Emmy Lou Harris. Her songwriting chronicles the stories, experiences and emotions which are part of everyone’s lives. Watching her show you’ll enjoy thoughtful lyrics, haunting vocals, and catchy melodies.

“Callaghan is a wonderful artist. She is beautiful, warm and hugely talented. The reaction to her music on my radio programmes has been fantastic. I am proud to support her”. Bob Harris, Radio 2

See and hear more on Callaghan’s website, where you can also join her mailing list to download a FREE 5-track EP!

Support will be provided by Charlie Hole.

Given his achievements to date, it is hard to believe that Charlie is still only 22 years old. Since the age of eleven, he has been writing music and has been playing his songs across the length and breadth of the UK. This experience has nurtured his talents, allowing him to continuously grow and mature as an artist, taking his inspiration from legends such as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Paul Simon and Randy Newman.

Charlie Hole’s “Stones on a Sandy Beach” is a beautiful song.” – Rod Stewart
